Help Shape Our Local Mental Health Strategy

Healthwatch Westminster and Healthwatch RBKC are working with voluntary, community, and faith organisations to develop a Bi-Borough VCS Mental Health Strategy for Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster.

Mental health affects us all, but many people still face barriers to getting the right support. We want to strengthen community-led mental health services, improve access, and influence the NHS and local councils to invest in what truly matters to local people.

 The strategy focuses on:
 • More investment in community-led mental health support
 • Joined-up, inclusive, and culturally relevant services
 • Earlier help and prevention
 • Greater choice and control over support

Have your say

We invite residents, community members, and people with lived experience to share their perspectives through our survey. Your feedback will help identify gaps, remove barriers, and guide practical actions that can make a real difference to mental health support locally. Complete the survey.

Where your feedback goes

All feedback will be shared anonymously with KCSC and One Westminster, who are leading the development of the Bi-Borough VCS Mental Health Strategy.

Stay involved

Let us know how you would like us to follow up with you. If you would like to take a more active role in shaping, writing, or launching the strategy, please contact: liam@kcsc.org.uk

Looking for support

If this content has raised any concerns or impacted you, support is available through the Wellbeing Hub, and we can also provide information about other local mental health services.

The survey will remain open throughout 2025, after which the strategy will be developed in early 2026, with the official launch planned for spring 2026. Your experiences will directly inform the strategy, helping shape services that meet the needs of local communities.

How does sharing your views make a difference?

You might think your feedback doesn’t have the power to change how health and social care services run. We want to show you how that isn’t the case.
